Learning from Samson’s Mistakes

Preached by

Who you listen to determines the course of your life. Are you listening to voices that lead you closer to God’s purposes, or ones that draw you away? Samson’s story reveals the danger of wrong influences and losing sight of our true source of strength. If he could advise us today, he would say “Listen to the right voice above all others.”

  • Surround yourself with people who point you to God’s truth, not just those who agree with you. Choose influencers wisely.
  • Remember that your real strength comes from the Spirit, not your own abilities. Stay close to God’s guidance.
  • Don’t confuse God’s grace as an excuse to keep sinning. Live in freedom, but serve one another in love.

The voices we listen to become the foundation of our thoughts, choices, and actions. Determine today to listen to the voice of Jesus above all others. Filter every message and influence through His word. When your motive is to serve Him and not yourself, He will empower you with the strength and wisdom you need for the destiny He has for you.

Begin now to listen to the voice that truly matters – the voice that can transform your life and lead you into the fullness of purpose God intended. The voice of the One who loves you most.
